I grew up in North east Ohio exploring our woods, fields and streams. I'm a lifelong fan of all things natural. I'm an amateur photographer, love birding, hiking and working in the woods, fields and streams. Raptors are one of my favorites to watch and photograph.

I was born and raised in Geauga County. I now reside in Ashtabula County on a couple hundred acres and lease two neighboring parcels for crops. Lake Erie is only about 10 miles away and offers me even more interesting areas to explore. The Nature Conservancy's Morgan Swamp is just a few miles down the road, which I have yet to explore in depth. "The great wild east" is what some call Ashtabula County and I enjoy it whether I'm walking "my boy" (canine kid), on a tractor, hiking, or sneaking around on the quiet electric gator, there's always something to see.
