Found several in the area growing beneath what appeared to be an Eastern White Pine but not positive on the specie of tree but it was a pine. They were growing next to the roots of the tree. Slimy convex cap, slimy stem. Pinkish white gills. Universal veil still attached to cap. I used the National Audubon Society Field Guide to Mushrooms to ID.
