http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl1.1/search?q=Cyanus

Centaurea has been split into several genera like Psephellus and Cyanus. This split has been already done with some of the species on iNaturalist, but several species still have to be swapped.

Can you tell us what paper/phylogeny this change is based on? I see that some floras are already using this name, so if warranted, then the name change should follow.

This change is based on
http://ww2.bgbm.org/EuroPlusMed/PTaxonDetail.asp?NameId=134778&PTRefFk=7000000
www.theplantlist.org/tpl1.1/record/gcc-108710

iNat tries to follow external taxonomies rather than tracking the primary literature.

I think we're good to go on committing this. Plants of the World Online also treats it as Cyanus segetum.
