Plant systematics graduate student at NMSU. Oregonian, Wisconsinite, and (new) New Mexican.

My main passion is Lamiaceae, and I'm always looking to see new mint species in person (see my mint observations). My observation posts are not limited to wild mints, but I do have a strong bias towards angiosperms when I'm out photographing. I also have a bias towards riparian zones and uncommon/rare plant species.

I've spent a lot of time documenting biodiversity in McDonald State Forest outside of Corvallis, but my current area of observation/obsession is the surrounding area of the Organ Mountains. See my website for more information.
