Just a guess here as this seems to have the most similar-looking critters. Have looked through BG images and MPG specimens for this subfamily and have not found a solid match. Color/pattern seems quite distinct. A bit active - would move in almost a circular motion, keeping head/front of body in one place and rotating back around in almost a circle a few times.

Collected
Apparently same as https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/7358170 which was also collected and lost by BOLD. This is going to Aaron Hunt who will pin it for eventual shipment to Landry (a Gelechid expert).

Spots don't line up for Kyoto Moth. Wing tips are pretty fringe-y looking and not very spotted.

I'm placing this distinctive little micro in the Tineidae based on a general similarity to a genus like Hybroma but it seems not to be illustrated in MPG at all; couldn't find it in several passes through all the micros. Size, FW ~ 5mm. New to me, whatever it is.

During a month with absolutely no rain, and often only 3 or 4 moths on the sheet on any given night, I am amazed that I managed to document over 60 spp of moths during the latter half of August. The majority were only seen in ones and twos. Here begins the uploads of this array.

Looks like images under BG's "Possibly Neodactylota":
