Description

A female visiting a stand of Asclepias verticiallata.

One of the Cerceris with a lamellate extension on the clypeal process (Scullen's Group III), which limits the number of species that could be found in this region considerably. Due to the obstructed views and less than sharp images, identification is somewhat tentative.
