Really intriguing and frosty bird that I think is best left as a thayeri/kumlieni. Rather dilute secondaries with minimal contrast with the primaries and overall pale wings. Solid tail pretty well rules out a genuine kumlieni, but this bird certainly doesn't qualify as a slam dunk thayeri either. Incredibly gorgeous individual!

Noticed in the dark by single speck of glowing light on what I believe was the rear of one of these individuals. Light was a faint light green. Curious, is this a mating pair? Can’t see the individual underneath very well but seems to be a much different body type from the one on type. If different please let me know and I’ll make a separate obs.
