This is an old picture from 2011 of a rare manatee that visited our dock after hurricane Irene in Atlantic beach NC. The date of this sighting is 9/04/11.

Very rare native occurrence on new hope creek bluff.
9 or so small trees and saplings tallest is 25 to 30 feet.
