It was in an open clearing where utility workers had cut trees. Lot of hair and some small off-white chips of various shapes. Not sure - could be bobcat, mountain lion, or coyote. Too big for fox. Wish I’d had a measure with me but it was about 3cm wide and very long as you can see, longer piece probably 10 cm.

Not a good shot I know but I saw her completely and she was beautiful! Quite healthy looking and very fluffy silver ticked gray, with a lot of orange in front and under belly and under tail. Couple days ago I noticed a deep burrow type hole under an old stump which seemed deeper than I remembered from last year and she was close to it so I’m hoping she’s a Mom with kits! Great big bushy tail. Anything I should know in terms of ensuring she has privacy etc.? I do have an indoor/outdoor cat and do spend a lot of time near where I think her den may be...
