Behind STG on rose. Roses were planted after the building was completed (I always forget the year [2015: here's a link https://gozags.com/facilities/stevens-center/3]). Most likely "Rosa X 'Nearly Wild'" which was also planted more recently behind the Integrated Science and Engineering building. Looks similar to https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/146170317. This was on campus but not within the PGU boundary.
Foraging on alfalfa
Went to see if any honey bees were visiting some plants I planted for pollinators. No honeybees were seen but observed this bee sitting on a board in garden. Watched it actions for about 30 minutes. Bee would sit and wait for what I assumed for female bees visiting nearby flowers. Would fly at regular intervals buzzing around the two plants in flower bed. If any bees were present would appear to mate and then land in same spot.
