Giant Amazonian Ants (Genus Dinoponera)Observer

This ant was spotted in the Caatinga semi arid region of Brazil. First I thought it was a Peroponera clavata but this was out of its range. Now I think it's a Dinoponera sp. the ant was 30 mm long.
