Description
A Drain Fly (Clogmia albipunctata), photographed in Sunnyvale, CA. Identified by comparing with all of the Moth Flies (family Psychodidae, subfamily Psychodinae) depicted in the reference cited below; C. albipunctata seemed to be the best fit in terms of wing shape, wing ornamentation, hairiness, and antenna characteristics.
Note: C. albipunctata is also known as the Bathroom Moth Midge.

@janetwright here are some lateral sepals from each of the keybreak, on the left is long fimbriate X caroliniana, and on the right is ciliate X ambigua. The middle... I can't remember but it might be the irregularly lacerate margined X platylepis. These can be found subtending each flower (2 per flower).

Description
Found these on a dead, still standing pine tree, that has lost most of its bark. Initially I found the two pictured together. A few days later, they were gone and the white one pictured above was located a few inches from where the initial ones were.
The second photo, was the next day, the surface has started to smooth out, just overnight. I will add another picture of it today, so I can document the changes.
