The iNaturalist community and other herpetological resources have come to the conclusion that this specimen is related to an Eastern Milksnake. However- there are some obvious differences. Without actual data, it may be possible that it had been cross bred, perhaps with a once “domestic/pet” snake that was released from captivity into the wild. Without actual genetic research however none of these theories can be confirmed.
