Cultivated “Black Spanish Radish.” I allowed a few of my black radish plants to reach flowering size this year so I could harvest the seeds. The roots (like this one) kept fresh in my fridge and I shredded the last one (with a cheese grater) about 1 week ago. A little hot, but tasty.
