With fasciation
Not sure what is going on but this is the fourth birder that I know of who has had a phoebe perch on their binoculars or on their person at Commons Ford.
mallow?
Kale???
Sadly was hit by a car prior to us finding it 😭
muscovy ducks can live in parking lots.
edit: reversed photo order since the second one has the closer picture of the duck
small frog (see photo of it in a Pollo Tropical sauce container, so the frog is about 2cm or less in length)
found amongst starfruit harvested from a property in Miami-Dade County. later released in Broward after it was found indoors.
the picture of it on a person's face came last but i just had to put it first because lol
(i have permission to post that photo, in case anyone is curious)
This turtle kept trying to get away from me, but it couldn't fit between the fencing and the boardwalk, and I feel kinda bad about exploiting its predicament for photo opportunities. But eventually I led it back to a place where it could get back in the water.
i saw the dragon again!
The dragon was seen briefly today. It seemed to be taking a breath at the time, but it was gone like 15 minutes later.
bro was riding the bus

Spent a little over an hour mostly looking at two oaks with low branches, snapping pics of galls and critters on the leaves and branches. Also brought an old peach to see what I could attract.

This wild alligator was roaming around a suburban neighborhood which backs up to a lake and to a nature park (Flatwoods Park). He was first found in a garage and later next door before he settled in a front lawn for the night. The weather was sunny and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. This has been identified as the American alligator because of its location (geographically and habitat-wise), overlapped jaws, wide snout, and distinctive dark coloration.
Windy and cloudy day on Miami Beach. I came to collect shells to photograph and post on iNat. Conditions weren't great for finding shells as the tide was coming in and the waves were rough. It was much easier when I came out a little over a week ago. I also picked up lots of trash while looking for shells.
