Description
I observed this snake without knowing what a find it was. My family and I were walking along the rocks surrounding Lake Granbury at the "Granbury Beach" and noticed a somewhat large snake laying on the rocks. The snake was probably around 3-4ft long and slender. I took two photos (attached) and the snake remained on the rock, nearly two feet away, allowing us to observe him.
Later that night once we returned home I posted the pictures to a Facebook group intended for snake identification. A member of that group then directed me here.

Here's a challenging one for you. The suggestions on this one are hilarious. Crappy pictures asides, Laurie Vitt dug this animal out of a log..or maybe it was under a log. What's the correct term for this look? Amelanistic?

Description
This snake was seen by a camper here on site #28, it slithered right through their campsite. By looking at the tail pattern/rattle and size I think this is the same snake that was spotted in August. At that time the snake had about 7 rattle segments and this one has eight, so it may have shed between them and now.
