In a wet dell near the barns
Leaves are opposite. Terminal leaflets are big
This is an ash but which one, I don’t know
I will go with green which tops suggestion list
ahead of white. Red is not offered

Leaflet stalks are too short for black I think

Description

Help! This is an Ash but I'm not certain as to the type. It's growing in a flood plain. It's not a White Ash or Black Ash. The significant feature is its thin, scaly bark; it's not corky like Black Ash. The twigs are not square in cross-section. There is no diamond patterned bark.
