Description
These seem to be trilliums, as they appear much like the ones beside them, but they flower a bit later and quite differently than the other bush, with multiple layers of petals.

On the Beane Trail
Two of the sepals developed into petals. Those petals have green strips down the middle.
The abnormal greening of plant parts (virescence) is a symptom of a plant disease caused by bacterial organisms called phytoplasmas. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phytoplasma
