Plants growing between bay beach and salt marsh, with Atriplex prostrata, Chenopodium berlandieri, Spartina patens/alterniflora, etc. Plants were about 12" tall or so, strongly upright with very thick, fleshy leaves that were farinose below. Native to South America.
