Eh, plant names are screwy in the nursery world, they sometimes rarely apply to the plant in question. Also it's so close and shares all the same letters with terniflora, I think it's just an error.

Looks like Wikipedia has a redirect from ternifolia -> terniflora. And yes, IPNI and POWO only list the terniflora name. I think you are right that it is a misspelling - it's a common enough one, in both directions, and might have gotten into the nursery trade that way also.

Committed the swap, and left the misspelled name in the scientific synonyms of the correct name, to (hopefull) re-direct any future searches.
