Yes, please. It seems to me are two different species
G. lobata lobata is listed in iNaturalist but does not appear in the International Plant Name Index (IPNI) used by Kew.
G. lobata is listed in iNaturalist and in IPNI-Kew is recognized as a synonym of Verbena lobata (accepted species). http://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/60456542-2
Verbena lobata lobata is also listed in iNaturalist. This variety is accepted, and its native range is SE. & S. Brazil to N. Argentina. It has a synonym V. corymbosa Cham. which probably is origin of the mistake.
BUT. Verbena corymbosa Ruiz & Pav. is other Taxon. This species is accepted, and its native range is Central & S. Chile, S. Brazil to Uruguay. This Is the species i'm requesting to include in iNaturalist. http://plantsoftheworldonline.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:865121-1
How it should be done? I have to add another flag?
Please see: https://www.inaturalist.org/flags/405708
For the time being please use https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/1193284-Glandularia-corymbosa
Since the other flag will address this, I will close this flag. Please address your concerns at
https://www.inaturalist.org/flags/405708
It is marked as a synonym of this species. Should this taxonomic area be redone?
