Thanks - it looks like this was carved off of https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/31308-Acanthosaura-crucigera?
If so we probably need to split Acanthosaura crucigera
Can you draw a line on the current Acanthosaura crucigera map similar to how I've done here:
https://www.inaturalist.org/flags/507004#activity_comment_f8787185-5c16-44ee-87fa-01437523fc3b
that will make it clear where the narrowed Acanthosaura crucigera stops and the new Acanthosaura meridiona begins
many thanks!
OK I went ahead and split this https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_changes/105364
which involved narrowing the taxon_ranges and also creating atlases
I also updated the deviation to include Acanthosaura crucigera to reflect that we're narrowing what RD means by Acanthosaura crucigera https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_framework_relationships/598649
Its fine to deviate from RD, but please make sure to do all these steps rather than just adding a new taxon as it creates weird overlap and confusion in what we mean by species
thanks!

I'm very sorry for my incomplete edit. Now I know the whole steps. My english is not very good some of the content maybe i don't fully understand through translation. And I'm still learning what you edited recently and how to use QGIS and will try to complete the other steps needed.
@naydin do you have a source for this? If you're adding species not in Reptile Database please mark them with a deviation (as I've done here) and explain how they relate to the sister species in RD (e.g. wholly new, or split off from such and such)
