Flowering time 1-12, 11-1 Central and South America. Popular ornamentals with bi colored flowers: lighter sepals and darker petals. Long-flowering. Pollen whitish or bluish. The x hybrida parents are Fuchsia fulgens and Fuchsia magellanica, the latter being a beeplant on its own. Although Fuchsia arborescens is a large shrub, it has been included here. (Johannsmeier, M.
