Mid sized succulent, about eight inches in total size, and about eight inches tall.
Seen on the side of a hill facing the ocean, on a warm sunny day with a light breeze. The area is exposed to lots of light, and likely heavy winds on some days. The soil is very sandy but a bit hard, and not damp at all. The area has low plant cover, it is the only plant this soil type.
