Larval stage, differentiated from Pseudotriton ruber by: spotting and arrangement of melanophores evenly distributed, giving streaked appearence; head blunt, barely truncated; pupils large and round without interrupting orbital stripe; ground coloration light gray.

Description

1 of 167 DOR's I photographed along a 2 mile stretch of road. This was only on one side of the road, there were easily just as many on the other side of the road. I estimate at least 500 roadkills along this stretch. Obviously some of these photos can't be identified from the poor photo, I have just added them for my personal information.
