Found two of those very large ticks in my diving shoe when I came back from snorkeling ... I had to walk trough high dry grass just for a few metres after climbing out of the water and up the rocks before reaching the path. Fortunately I knew about the presence of the species which can cause the sometimes deadly Crimea-Congo-Fever, so I checked my legs immediately afterwards and therefore wasn't bitten. When I photographed them, they came after me with ants speed! When I changed position they would stop, then change direction and come into my direction again. Usually I don´t kill animals, but I made an exception in this case.
