About a half dozen plants, all 3-4’ in height. None with open blooms. Dirca palustris was observed 2 air miles away and all were in bloom.
New stems and bracts white-tomentose. Leaf blades (dissected bud) very hairy. All plants in this colony not yet flowering, even though Dirca palustris (found about 2 miles distant) same type of location was in full flower.
