Description

Purchased and planted years ago. Made no progress under large exotic tree. Moved but again to semi shade area. Recently has more sun may make some growth. Erroneously thought it was a plant for deep shade.

It is a herb with a soft slender stem. It is monocot. It has parallel veined softly green coloured leaves that are elongated. It has purple flower petals that are in clusters. has hairy purple ball like structures which are also in clusters. Its located in very wet areas, such as along streams and is often in water. can be referred to as an aquatic plant. Prefers moist soil.
