Description

Small herbaceous plant, 12cm tall
Simple, elongate leaves with small white
dots all over
Whorled leaves
Yellow flowers with 5 petals and 5 sepals,
radially symmetrical and in a raceme
inflorescence
Many stamens and 3 styles
Hard fruit
Superior ovary with fused carpels
Small black dots on petal margins, where
there are small lobes

Description

Found this dandelion alone in between two rocks. Fuzzy white fern, with hairy seeds. It stuck out because it was the only dandelion in it's area so it definitely grew due to the wind transporting it's seeds to this area and getting stuck in between these rocks. Outside temp. 53 degrees

Description

The flowers on the tree are extremely fragile and easily fall of when touched. The tree lives in a humid subtropical climate. The flower itself is about five inches in diameter. The tree has a light pink flower and a waxy cuticle on the leaves.
