Observed while nightlighting with @jensseattle
There were thousands, probably millions of these guys off the dock the day I went. Super cool to see them everywhere.
Spotted about 6 individuals both by the Marina and the shore. I didn't have my camera on hand which I'm super sad about so hopefully I'll be able to properly photograph them soon.
Single Individual that was hanging around the Pier
Single Individual that was hanging out by the docks
Single Individual that was hanging out by the Ferry Dock. I'm not very good at Bird ID but it definitely looks like a Kingfisher of some sort
There were lots of them by the docks. I notice there seem to be more here compared to Seattle but maybe I'm just more aware of spotting them.
I did catch some with different colored stomachs such as the one in the first picture.
A super tiny creature that got caught in a Plankton Tow. Many times smaller than my pinky nail, I would've missed it if it weren't so green. I'm not sure what it is, I'm guessing hydrozoan since it did pulse like a Jelly but I'm not confident. It's super cool though
