it was just a little bit after noon, but this hawk seemed to be able to grab one of the bats residing under the bridge for a light lunch. i didn't see how the bird actually got the bat, although i've been told by others that hawks will fly upside down under the bridge to get the bats.

the sound file is from the bats under the bridge a couple of hours later (from the side of the bayou where the hawk was)
