La vi al mediodía en la intersección de dos senderos junto al mirador de la ESPOL
Need help with ID. This photo was taken by my colleague Eduardo Cuevas in the Tumbesian dry forest on the Perú Ecuador border. We think it´s a female Short-tailed Woodstar based on overall coloring, tail length, and size (it was tiny -- Eduardo guessed 4 cm). But we are confused by what looks like a throat patch.
