Box turtle (exact variety, I don't know). Found crossing Creek Road near Herrmann Pond in Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Park, approx 5 miles from rt 78 at Chandlerville, IL.

Ornate Box Turtle (I think). Approx 6in long, crossing the road. Placed on the side of the road the turtle was facing toward. Second turtle rescue in a similar area in the last 30 days.
