fledgling
As per Dave Ziolkowski: The edges of the wing feathers are green and the center of the back is plain. Most folks would likely expect a Red-eye to have a strong supercillium but it’s not so, for youngsters actually have that plain face seen on your bird. And see that greenish wash on its ear coverts? That’s another strong vireo tell. Lastly, its big, almost grotesque-looking yellow bill is the norm for fledgling Red-eyes at that stage of development.
This photo is from a video taken of an unknown animal in a cave in the Abacos, Bahamas. We have no animals like this on the island and it was swaying as it watched the men looking at it.
