Found during low, Spring tide in low-intertidal zone.

Observed during class field trip... multiple records of this organism will likely be posted

found under a rock in the shore

Found along wet low tide area

Found in dry flat sandy patch above sea level

Found near the beach shore

Found at top of cliff, growing in sandy soil. Probably 20ft tall

Found in patches growing in open cover vegetation mostly

between the wet side of the sand and the dry side

Seen climbing through branches. It stayed there for a couple minutes, then went back into the ground shrubbery. It was about 3 meters from the trails edge.

Found on North facing slope under the shade of Torrey Pines. About a half meter off the trail. Each leaf was about 25 centimeters long.

Found mostly on North facing slopes on the trail I was on. They provided cool shade for many of the other species in the reserve.

Southern facing slope

Small tiny red flowers found in a patch alongside the trail. They were on a flat soil surface

Found flying along the beach. Started walking along the shoreline. Has a spotted brown color.

This flowering plant could be observed growing in the harsh upper zone of the beach, indicating it's hardiness and tolerance for high salinity levels.

This hydroid could be observed growing on many bean clams. The appendages of this organism could be seen sticking out from the wet sand of the intertidal sandy beach.

Found on the more inland portion of the beach. Was growing in dry sand. Has thick green leaves.

Found along the beach in wet sand around a lot of other beanclams. The opening portion was in the sand and it had a white and gray color.

Seen walking together on wet sand near the edge of the water during low tide.
