Today was my birthday and we went out fishing on a rowboat and my youngest son caught this Largemouth Bass all on his own. Released it after the photo.

When I first saw this bird I thought that it was a Sparrow or some other small bird but on closer inspection I discovered it was actually just a really smal Robin. It perched on a tall post for a bit observing its surroundings.
While on a BioBlitz in the Rouge Valley in Scarborough, Ontario I fortunate enough to see dozen of Painted Turtles basking in the sun on logs. Some of them dove into the water on my approach but most ignored me.

Leopard Frog at Wolf Howl Pond. It actually dove through one of the turtle nest cages to rest at this strawberry.

Swimming erratically, eventually floated belly up then sank to the river bottom. It was approximately 8 inches in length.
Not sure about these trout. Can someone help me positively id them? I believe they're stocked here and they only allow catch and release i this section of this creek.
