I posted some great pix of hawk-snake predation attempts this morning on strangebehaviors.com
Then this hawk (not such a great photo) came zooming down on a songbird at my feeder and cornered it in a rose bush. The hawk clambered around inside the rose bush for a bit, then took up a vigil on a tree branch overhead for about 45 minutes. Bird and prey both seem to have gone away (separately, I think). Is this a juvy Cooper's Hawk?
