Juniper-apple Rust (Gymnosporangium juniperi-virginianae)Observer

I suspect this is one of the cedar-apple rusts. We had an infected serviceberry last year that we had removed to save our red cedars, I was hoping that it was done in time. There are two other trees on neighbors' properties that might be serviceberries as well.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what can be done besides cutting of the infected parts? (Which would finish these trees based on the locations the infection is present.)

These somewhat creepy-looking spiders normally hang out in my basement, but this one has made a field trip up to the kitchen ceiling. Since it's not in my way, I'm just going to pretend it's not up there. Maybe it will eat some fruit flies...

Lesser Celandine (Ficaria verna)Observer

Weed Torch Trial -
Not sure who will become exhausted first, me or the celandine. On 2/11/23 I did a controlled burn of the lesser celandine in this small area (in between the four orange stakes). I knew it would come back. This is the third torching. The second being on 2/25/23.

Euonymus fortunei is one of the worst invasives in our area. This one was spread by birds that ate the seed. We pull these out immediately.

It is the least colorful of these lizards I have seen. I wonder if this is just a winter color, to blend in more with the environment?
The 3rd pictures shows the blue spots on the side that is the tell-tale sign of this subspecies to the best of my best knowledge.
