DOR painted turtle. When I saw it, there was a car pulled over on the side of the road. Spoke to the driver. He said the truck in front of him hit and killed the turtle. I gave him the OTCC contact info if he ever encounters an injured or gravid turtle in need of help. Just devastating. This was following a very heavy rain.
