West Pasco Christmas Bird Count; a solo effort. I started with a walk-around survey, which ended at 0742, then spent the next 3 hours doing a stationary Gulf watch from the southern pavilion. The weather at the start was pre-sunrise (and partly cloudy), 60 degrees ("feels like" 58) and breezy (winds from the N at 2-8 MPH). I left at 1058 and headed to the lunch/initial compilation at Heartwood Preserve.

West Pasco Christmas Bird Count with Don Fraser. We stopped at Green Key after lunch to see if we could find any shorebirds that had been missed in the morning because of the extremely low tide. We did not find any "new" birds until we left the park and found 7 Ruddy Turnstones at the Funnel. I did not record the weather but it was partly cloudy, mild, and breezy. We left the park at 1332.
