A large wolf spider on dried palmetto frond.

Taken at Lettuce Lake Park. Weather was sunny with a few clouds and a hot 92 degrees Fahrenheit. The spider was seen on its web on a bridge above a marsh.
This picture taken in the late afternoon in a forest environment, there was no wind and the temperature was in the mid 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The sun was out and the skies were clear. This species could be identified by its large size and distinct color pattern.
