Growing from mossy rocks
Surviving within the slopiver
What type of mushroom is this?
growing in wet meadow, cap attached at top of stipe
Can't figure out this species. Cap color is like calyptroderma, but no "skullcap". Gills and stipe are white, striate cap margin, has persistent skirt, hollow stipe and crumbly yellowish volva. On the upper edge of a steep road cut, under spruce, fir and alder. No oak or pines nearby. Perhaps vernicoccora?
Ridged underside that did not extend into the stipe, smooth top, firm, not hollow stipe, funnel shaped that did not extend into the stipe.
Growing in dirt, under oak and sycamore. Cap about 16 cm across, smooth, mostly dull white, buff at margin. Pores yellow to olive and look full. No blueing on pores or cap when bruised.
Growing under sycamores, high on bank of intermittent stream. Three others in the vicinity.
