Fruiting abundantly under Douglas fir and Monterey pine.
Odor: damp and moist smelling. Very funky and kinda fishy. Strong and icky.
Specifically the orange fungus is the focus of the photo
Blue staining was immediate. Found under a rotting Monterey pine stump and not a hardwood, so I'm hesitant to call it s. amygdalinus.
Rosecomb mutation
Resupinate fungus growing on redwood next to trail,
Light yellow on upper surface and dark yellow underside,
White UV,
Soft cotton candy texture,
Stinky, Cleaner odor
