Description

In a graveyard. After a heavy rain, one of the graves that was sunken had quite a bit of water in it and there toad egg strings, mating toads, and one was just climbing out as I arrived - this one.

There was even one with a huge tick on its neck - I will post that one later.

Note: synonymous with "Rana sylvatica"

Went out looking to photograph wood frogs; while we were unable to locate any fully developed frogs, we found literally hundreds of tadpoles in a vernal pool next to a gravel roadway.
