Found chasing Western Grey Squirrel (Sciurus Griseus) out of tree. Now foraging.
This squirrel is very curious and likes to climb up trees. Though, whenever a person walks by, it seems to follow it. Then, it just stands on its two legs and stare at you.
It lives in a grassy area, where there is water and trees to climb and live on.
It likes to eat nuts.
This squirrel has a gray fur coat, and thin claws fir climbing and eating.
This little guy was fairly aggressive and absolutely fearless of humans.
I encountered him near the picnic area of Temescal Canyon park. He kept creeping closer and closer and did not back off from vocal warnings, only leaving when I got up and stomped the ground right next to him.
He had two spots in his fur that could have been a wound of some kind.
At one point he ran under our picnic table and picked up a sugary cracker and ran off with it.

I am attaching some pictures from my game camera. I am wondering what that larger animal might be. Going by the fence behind it, I estimate its height around 3.5 feet. Would appreciate your thoughts.
