Description

am pretty sure this is a harnessed tiger moth bc of the dots around the collar (though I know the picture doesn’t show it all that well)! had a hard time trying to spot the differences between the nais tiger moth and the harnessed one. plus if you look to the right, there’s a surprise weevil!

White Ibis (Eudocimus albus)

Description

While I was biking back to my dorm on a quite humid day (temperature being around mid 80s) I noticed this specimen with a group of its kind. They were all walking in a group towards a body of water. Some of them were looking for food in the ground. The birds were very white with a distinct yellow beak. I identified this specimen as the white ibis because of these visual qualities it has as well as it location.
