Field Notes - Tamar wallabies everywhere on garden island. feeding on grass lawns.
on vertical reeds in stream
Reed frog was found very close to this obs on the swing set (the bright yellow part of it!). It was brought to me by my sons babysitter and I released it on the reeds near the water. Safer than on the swing set!

Field Notes - 3 turtles in sun, 2 took to water when startled.
Field Notes - four turtles in proximity, two in company 2 singly. looked like they were foraging amongst the debris in the knee deep water. quite active always on the move.
v. bright sun overhead (approx 2pm), hopefully theres enough detail in the photos to ID.

Additional comments? - i have no clue what species this is. when i saw it i thought it was a grasswren and when i looked in my field guide the closes match was a rufous fieldwren however there are some differences between them. eg white stripe across the wing and grey back/upper wing.

Don't think he's a Firefinch or a Warbler on the reeds
