I was quite amazed to see that the wind gusts to 30 mph simply made the plover scurry a bit further downhill on the sand.

Spotted at least three and there may have been one or two more. It was hard to keep track of them as they were diving and I was distracted watching the pelican.

Pretty much the only option the Cormorant could be. No clue of the wading bird in the photo
