violet color; sharply pointed leaves; multiple petals on each flower that are clustered together in a cylindrical shape; 8-12 inches tall; narrow leaves with a sharp outline at the edges; each stem has fuzzy pea pod shaped structures; plants are spaced out from each other and not very close
