Deciduous forest. A pest of various Alliums, there was a sizeable population on ramps (Allium tricoccum) in the area. Photos 1 & 2 show ramps with oviposition damage. Photo 3 shows a leaf with a small hole cut in it to show the maggot inside. Photo 4 includes a size reference; the marks on the ruler are in millimeters. Photo 5 shows oviposition damage from the adult female.
This specimen + one 2nd/3rd instar progeny (link below) was observed on Cocoplum (Chrysobalanus icaco).

Based on the shape it is most likely a member of the Genus Halyomorpha.
